I first saw this show when it ran on PBS ages ago and even as a late elementary age kid i loved it! The songs are catchy (adicting if you're not careful) and each of the ladies plays her part the way it was meant to be played. Sure the presentation of the film itself (incorperating the actual audience in shot) may seem a bit undesirable to someone who hasn't seen it live, but it works for this film! I had the pleasure of playing Sr. Robert Ann in a high school production of this show and each of us worked hard to capture the essence of our characters that was displayed in this version. Some people are under the mistaken impression that this show makes fun of Catholicism but i couldn't disagree with them any stronger. Likewise you deffinately don't have to be Catholic to enjoy the show. When i moved out of my parents house and into my own apartment i swiped their copy of this movie. They're now begging me to either buy my own copy or buy one for them! Definately a good laugh! So make Nunsense a habit around your house today!
