Mounting is very easy but you will need molly bolts or any drywall screw anchor. Make SURE, you measure the screw hole to purchase the right screws. You WILL need a second person to help you hang this. Build quality is good and it was delivered with no damage. We use this every day, yes every day - up, then down. It has held up over a year. We debated over the electric or the manual. If you want to be cool, go electric but I didn't want the headaches.
