(More customer reviews)First, allow me to state that I am a long time Sony user (which is widely considered to make the best in televisions and other electronics). Well, this Mitsubishi HDTV can stand "toe to toe" with the Sony line, and it does it at a much lower price.
This television's High definition picture is awesome, and it's speakers are more than adequate!!! I have DIRECTV which only offers a 1080i signal (this television has an even better 1080p capability), and I am totally amazed with the crisp and clean picture. The picture is great from any angle and close up. You simply have to see it to believe it (especially if you like sports and movies). The cooling fan is extremely quiet too (can't hear it at all).
IMPORTANT - It should be understood that this television is made for a HD signal (720p, 1080i, or 1080p). Due to the overwhelming size of the screen, non HD channels seem blurry, and almost not worth watching. So make sure you spend the extra money for the HD channel packages with your cable or satellite company.
On a side note, this model also comes with an easy set up feature. It's a very nice... you simply plug in your dvd player, satellite receiver, Play Station, Xbox, whatever and it automatically senses it. It will ask you to verify that it is what it thinks it is, and that's it; no special programming or matching remotes. The television is extremely user friendly!
If you plan on watching predominately high definition channels and movies, buy this tv! You won't be disappointed!!!

(More customer reviews)The projector preforms very well. Picture quality is excellent. Easy to operate. With a ceiling mount and even though the projector has no lens shift I had no problem obtaining an image with no keystoning problems. Projector is extremely quiet. Very little fan noise. Switching between multiple input sources is easy. The projector is brighter that the one I replaced but I did expect it to be a little brighter that what it is. However brightness is very acceptable. Contrast is execellent.

InFocus X1A DLP Multimedia Video Projector Review

(More customer reviews)it fell apart under use. I researched buying a projector for a long time and the x1 looked like the ticket. It had the right price and all of the right options and after unpacking it and setting up the projector it was WOW. Then the problems. A huge grinding noise started and I sent it back to Infocus to be repaired under warranty. Infocus promises a detailed repair report and they replaced a screw. The same thing happened and I sent it back to Infocus and spoke with a nice guy. I said this was a lemon and should be replaced. Not happening. I even offered to upgrade and pay the difference. Not happening. When I got it back at least this time the repair report didn't just say replaced a screw. The unit is doing the same thing out of warranty and I put in for a repair request and thought ..... hmmmmm..... if Infocus couldn't fix it under warranty then why could they fix it out of warranty and I would be out at least 300.00 with no guarantee it wouldn't do it again. So I have a useless unit hanging like a bat on my ceiling.
Did this unit perform? Yes it did. Was extremely happy with it. But then if you can't get it fixed and fixed right then the unit is useless and the lowest rating. I continue to read all of these wonderful reviews and no one has ever mentioned my experience. This leads me to believe that my unit was a lemon and Infocus should have done the right thing. I did write Infocus and told them I would be writing reviews and gave them a week with no response.

The marketing manager of Infocus read my reviews and my experience and have since replaced the unit with a NEW Infocus x-2 at no charge. Works like a charm yet it sometimes still has that metallic grinding noise.

Optoma EP719 DLP Portable Projector 2000 Review

(More customer reviews)I found this projector to be the Best Bang for the Buck after comparison shopping with all the different brands available. Comparing 2500:1 contrast ratio, 2000 ANSI lumens, 16x9 aspect ratio, up to 300 inches screen size projection (huge), 720p or 1080i (high def. DLP), easy set-up, multi connectivity and compatibility for under 1 grand is remarkable while other brand doesn't even come close. Ofcourse there are better specs. projectors out there but be ready to pay more. The higher the contrast ratio and ANSI lumens the better.
To enjoy the full potential of a 1080i picture (movie theater experience minus the annoying person behind you) you need to connect an HD source or an upconverting DVD like Samsung ($130) and a surround sound system. Soon you'll look forward to every Friday & Saturday movie nights at home with the kids and a big smile on your face.

(More customer reviews)Great 2000+ lumen projector for the cost. Great color/picture quality-HDTV even better. I use it as a home theater projector with a screen size of 96" (diagonal). Bright enough for a sunny day (may washed out if you have direct sunlight coming in the room).Great contrast. Some reviewers have mentioned rainbow effects -I have yet to see. I have being using projectors in my home theater for over 4 years and this is the best (bargain) projector I have used.
