5. If I Die (Ready... Break)

14. Konstantine (Ready... Break; Songs for Silent Movies)
15. Space (North)
16. If U C Jordan (Audioboxer; Galaxy Sessions; LTTW; Live at Fillmore Theater)
17. Punk Rock Princess (Audioboxer; Galaxy Sessions; LTTW; Live at Fillmore Theater; Songs for Silent Movies)This dvd starts off following Andrew, Clutch, Brian, and Josh around. Andrew gets his hair cut; Clutch bowls his best game "while filming the dvd!!"; Josh... I dunno really what he does lol... walks around town a bit; Brian --ah funny guy!-- searches for a music shop to get drum sticks. Man seriously I never knew how funny Brian is;) and Clutch as well!
Then the guys get ready to play at Ventura...
Then comes the concert! Awesome, awesome performance.. They sound as good live if not better in almost every song! And I have to mention that in "Drunk Girl" Andrew accidently starts to sing the wrong verse, and he is so hilarious about it! Man he's so charming... Anyways they start the concert fast-paced, then slow it down with the songs "Wait", "Walking By", and the famous "Konstantine", which I must say are absolutely gorgeous and emotional here. The band speeds it back up at the end with the fun songs "Space", "If U C Jordan", and "Punk Rock Princess."
Definitely a must-have for every SoCo fan out there.. and even if you're hesitant about this band, this concert will surely turn you into the biggest fan!

Sound & Vision Home Theater Tune-Up (2001) Review

Sound and Vision Home Theater Tune-Up (2001)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have both Sound & Vision Home Theater Tune-Up and the Avia Guide To Home Theater. If you're a serious video/audiophile, you will want to get the Avia Guide To Home Theater which has far more comprehensive video/audio calibration tests and procedures.
Then again, I suspect the S&V disc is more aimed at the 'mass market' and as such, it does an excellent job. The explanations are very well (and occasionally humorously) explained by two highly appealing presenters. The audio/video tune-ups are a subset of what's available on the Avia Guide disc, though the S&V disc also includes some test patterns from Avia Pro which I hadn't seen before.
I very much like the 'Extras' section of the disc which has some great demo clips from Dolby, DTS, and THX. These are not available on Avia Guide to Home Theater. Also, the DTS tune-up is not available on the Avia Guide, and is most welcome though it didn't result in any changes to my audio settings.
I experienced a strange glitch with the video on the speaker balance tune-up - the wrong speaker was highlighted or the previous menu would be displayed. Weird. I have had no problems with the Avia Guide.
Overall, at the MSRP ...I highly recommend the Sound & Vision Home Theater Tune-Up. It's informative and entertaining, and I think it will help novice users better understand and make the most of their home theaters.

InFocus X6 DLP Projector Review

InFocus X6 DLP Projector
Average Reviews:

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the picture from this projector. Being on the low-end price-wise I didn't expect the high-quality picture that it projected. I bought it for my 15-year old daughter to have movie parties with. It is also very simple to operate. The only downfall is that it only came with a cable to connect to a PC, but not a cable to connect to a DVD player (S-video to RCA) I had to order that separately since the stores (Radio Shack & Circuit City) do not carry it in stock.

Optoma EP721 SVGA 2200-Lumens DLP Multimedia Data Projector Review

Optoma EP721 SVGA 2200-Lumens DLP Multimedia Data Projector
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I recently purchased a new Optoma EP721 projector on the recommendation of a colleague. It was very light weight and easily carried to my lectures. My colleague had given his Optoma projector to his son and purchase another brand projector to replace it. He found the other projector was twice the weight and did not notice any discernible difference in the images, so he purchased another Optoma projector. In the first test-run at a venue, I was extremely impressed with the brightness of the 2200-Lumens lamp, which was perfect for my presentations. The lecture venue was large enough to seat 60 guests for a luncheon.
I had read in other reviews that the yellow colors were not as bright as with some other brands. While I found this to be true, it was minimal and not obvious to the audience. The wonderful feature about digital presentations, is that one can compensate for color during the editing process of the images using software, such as Photoshop.
The set-up process was easily accomplished after I reviewed the instructions. After one try, I was confident that I could rely upon the Optoma projector integrated with my MAC laptop. Lastly, the Optoma EP 721 was extremely favorably priced and was about half the cost of the competition. As an example of my satisfaction with this projector, I purchased a second one for the organization that I chaired.

Canon DC410 DVD Camcorder with 41x Optical Zoom Review

Canon DC410 DVD Camcorder with 41x Optical Zoom
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This camera has many flaws that are important to understand before buying. First is a limitation of the DVD in recording length. 30 min is the default with 60 minutes max at the sacrifice of video quality.
Consider that Mini-DV tapes will support 60 min at highest quality.
These 3 inch DVD disks are difficult to handle under perfect conditions. I wanted to use this camera for outdoors events but it would be too easy to get fingerprints on the recording surface to take chances without clean hands and dry conditions. The disks are small and have to be forced onto the spindle without touching the recording surface.
Another limitation is that the least expensive DVD disks are DVD-R write once only which makes it impossible to edit what you shoot. They can't be erased. Scenes deleted so be sure you don't record anything with them you might regret later. It supports DVD-RW Write Many format also but considering how easy it is to mess up the recording surface don't expect them to last forever.
The greatest problem with this device is that the DVD drive is limited to only three brands of disks. This makes the DVD recorder not very well supported for using with the video.
The DVD drive does not support all DVD formats available. THIS IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW: YOU MUST USE ONLY DVD-R, DVD-R DL, or DVD-RW FORMATS. Notice it is a MINUS - not a plus +. (Amazon.com bundles this with a 3 pack of DVD+RW disks which are not ever going to work with this camera so don't include it like I did.)
To make matters worse you cannot just use any 3 inch DVD-R disks. The camera claims to only support 1-layer Hitachi-Maxwell HG series disks or 2 layer Canon DVD-R DL54 and Verbatim DVD-R DL disks. (Not Sony, which is the brand Amazon.com recommends.)
If you decide to risk it and use an unsupported disk, every time the camera is turned on you will get a dire warning that using this disk is not supported and you run the risk of damaging the camera or end up with poor/no video. I could only find Maxell DVD-R DS and TDK-RW at Rite-Aid. Both will work with the camera but the warnings are enough to make me believe I should try to buy disks it won't complain about. It is very annoying that it doesn't support both - and + formats like most dvd recorders to start with. I would suggest that if you want a DVD camcorder, look for one that can use both +/- if possible and supports all manufacturers disks.
The camera also lacks a firewire port so you can't use it with a computer to capture the video stream. The model 410 has an AV port and microphone jack. It does not have a USB port. The model 420 USB doesn't support the video just the photo feature and takes the place of the microphone jack.
The last disappointment with this camera is the image stabilization feature is awful. The video becomes so shaky that people will think you have been drinking or you are filming an earthquake. Even on a stable tripod the video was not stable even if focused on inanimate objects.
All the reasons I wanted to get this camera are total disappointments for me. I wish I would have chosen a different camera with better DVD support or one that records to flash memory, and probably not from Canon.
P.S NO software with the camera for editing the video or the photos!

Canon DC420 DVD Camcorder w/48x Advanced Zoom - 2009 MODEL Review

Canon DC420 DVD Camcorder w/48x Advanced Zoom - 2009 MODEL
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The Canon DC420 Camcorder was my first Digital Camcorder and I am impressed with video picture quality. The zoom feature is way beyond my expectations as well as
the audio quality. Easy to operate once you figure out the instruction manual. I
certainly have no idea what the people who wrote this manual were thinking when they were writing it! Would have been much easier if one section of the manual was devoted entirely to the video application and a separate section for still camera mode. The way it is written you have to "jump" all over the manual trying to figure out what's going on. Also, there should have been a SD card included and software when you download a DVD to computer. I had to obtain a program just to convert the VOB files from the DVD to files for Windows Media Player and Windows Movie Maker.
Other than those couple discrepancies it is an absolutely super video camera and I would very highly recommend it. I won't say the Canon Support Group was great but they tried their best and overall I was satisfied.

Coby DVD-209 Ultra Compact DVD Player Review

Coby DVD-209 Ultra Compact DVD Player
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This pint-sized portable DVD player from Coby belies its compact form with a sleek, attractive design, a sharp, crisp image accessible through composite outputs, a full-functioned miniature remote and the ability to read and smoothly play virtually any disc format, including + and - RW DVDs,
So why, you may well wonder, have I given this ostensibly marvelous little device a rating of only one star? The answer is that sadly, it suffers from what is, for anyone with normal hearing, a fatal flaw: It is loud. I mean truly unbearably, irredeemably LOUD.
On playback, the motor revs up to whir at such blaring decibels that it actually drowns out any quiet scenes that you may be watching, and yields an interminable din that competes even with normal levels of volume. In other words, its sound is omnipresent and endlessly, hopelessly distracting, rendering the machine, for this user at least, completely useless.
If larger DVD players, as well as compact CD players of the same size, don't generate this kind of noise, then there's really no excuse for the DVD-209 to be doing it, other than just plain poor engineering design.
What a waste -- of both a good idea for a compact DVD player -- and my money.

Epson EX50 3LCD Multimedia Projector, XGA, 2200 Lumens Review

Epson EX50 3LCD Multimedia Projector, XGA, 2200 Lumens
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I am a neophyte when it comes to using overhead projectors, but took a chance on this one. I was able to use the USB cord (included) to do a power presentation for a meeting, only 24 hours after the projector arrived. It was truly "plug & play."
A few days later, I needed to present a video clip to an audience. When I checked it out, I discovered that in videos, the USB cord was inadequate. So, I tried the "external monitor" cord (also included) and the situation was quickly resolved!
There were no worries about buying the right cords to connect anything, and there was no problem in getting it set up. It works well in a "dimly lit room." It has a nice feature that turns off the light (but not the projector) when the front cover is closed, and it is "instantly cool" after turned off. Besides the cords, it comes with its own carrying case and a cd with a manual to install on your computer.
I haven't yet run sound through the projector, since I have stereo speakers I use for that purpose.
Would I buy it again? Absolutely! Would I tell friends about it? Without hesitation.
*** Later note - I have since run sound through the projector. It is not as loud as using my stereo speakers, but it is OK in a smaller room.

I bought this in the hope that it would work with an iPad. It works like a charm to play movies or to use Netflix or YouTube.

ViewSonic PJ513DB DLP Projector - 5.7 Lbs Review

ViewSonic PJ513DB DLP Projector - 5.7 Lbs
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
We built a small movie theater in our basement and wanted a projector that could provide a good projected picture. After extensive research we elected to go with the ViewSonic PJ513DB DLP Projector, and we wern't dissapointed. It has an outstanding picture and the HD performance is the ultimate. It has a bright picture that is easy to see even when there is light in the room. The only drawback is that there is no HDMI input port. In order to get the HD we had to purchase an adapter cord that converted the HD cables to SVGA (ordered it off Amazon.com, cost us $8.00 and some change shipping included). The projector has many automated features including auto source selection so when you tune anything HD it automatically switches to the SVGA port and back again. It also automatically formats the picture size. I can't say enough about it! We are thoroughly satisfied! This projector does just as good a job as other units that are 4x the price.

Vuzix Wrap 920 Widescreen Video Eyewear + VGA Adapter Review

Vuzix Wrap 920 Widescreen Video Eyewear + VGA Adapter
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
While I was very excited when I read the claims of iPhone, PC, and game console compatibility, I was very disappointed when I attempted to use the product.
1. iPhone - what they don't tell you is that you can't show anything on the screen except video through your iTunes account. I wanted this unit specifically to watch Netflix via my iPhone, and all I get is a blank screen - reading the fine print in the manual reveals that iPhone will only display through it's own media player. They could have mentioned this fact in the advertisement, but not a single word. The end result - this "feature" alone ruins the product for me. Of course, I can't absolve Apple of responsibility - they are the fools that have always built proprietary function into all of their products.
2. PC through the optional VGA adapter - sounded good, but either the unit is defective, or it is not compatible with my video card. Funny thing is that the nVidia applet reports that the adapter is there - it just doesn't work, yet my second monitor works just fine.
3. Yay! I got the PS3 connector to work! (dripping with sarcasm just in case it was not obvious) The best resolution it will display is 480p - for those of us that are accustomed to 1080i/p games, it is kind of like looking at your monitor through a swimming pool.
4. I was not able to ever achieve perfect focus (either a problem or the resolution just plain stinks) my vision is 20/20
My summary - I doubt that this unit will be good for anything I do. If Vuzix had only been honest in their marketing (I know, stupid of me to think that would ever happen), I'd have never purchased this product. Yes, they have sold me a piece of goods, but I'll forever give them bad recommendations, and obviously never purchase from them again. I guess they are happier with a $300 sale rather than worry about all the bad press they will receive from a consumer who feels cheated.

Epson PowerLite 77c 2200 Lumen Multimedia Projector Review

Epson PowerLite 77c 2200 Lumen Multimedia Projector
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This projector is a very good choice for home entertainment as well as work in an office or in the lab [my case]. It is very bright even when operated in economy mode. The self adjusting feature is very good, like for instance the auto keystone. The menu is easy to navigate, and efficient. The lamp is good, and cheap. The projector is quiet, and doesn't get too hot while operating. The cover lid for the lamp is a good extra. The machine is light and very easy to carry with the provided bag.
The remote could be bigger with bigger buttons. The VGA cable is rather short but can be replaced with a 10ft super-VGA shielded video cable for about $20.
In essence, a must buy! Clear, bright and sharp images/videos at a very reasonable price. I had a DELL projector before and I regret I didn't trust EPSON to begin with!

LG LHB953 1000-Watt Blu-ray Disc Home Theater In a Box Review

LG LHB953 1000-Watt Blu-ray Disc Home Theater In a Box
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This system is great. What I was most concerned with in buying this system was the convergence of the Web, television and music in our family room. This system seemed to meet all my requirements on paper and I was satisfied when I received the box.
Setup was simple and everything you need is in the box except for one thing: it needs to be near your router so that you can network it. My router is upstairs so I got around that through powerline networking which allows you to send your network through your power outlets. Works like a charm.
The bottom line is that I get my Netflix movies directly through the BluRay player...no waiting for the mailman for most movies. I also get FM radio and Pandora as well as my cable TV.
Great product. I recommend it.
